Bệnh thoái hóa cận biên Terrien’s - Terrien’s Marginal Degeneration
This video shows an eye with Terrien’s Marginal Degeneration. This is when the cornea thins at the edges toward the limbus. The etiology of this condition is not understood, but classically these eyes present with a band of thinning with a step-off toward the center. Also, you can see white lipid deposit, vessels growing into the area.
In this video you can see the area of thinning at the limbus. You can also see the sloping central edge that spares the limbus. This eye has no injection and the patient was without complaints.
